Within Copenhagen, there is a hidden technical cadastral. A ground fragmented by decades of remodeling towards a modern age, forgetting its crucial past. We accommodate the gaps to reactivate this certain atmosphere. The former seal is unfolded and the city can reclaim its overlooked space. A semi-public transition is now situated between the radiant city outside and the intimacy of the collegium.

The Royal Danish Academy supports the Sustainable Development Goals

Since 2017 the Royal Danish Academy has worked with the Sustainable Development Goals. This is reflected in our research, our teaching and in our students’ projects. This project relates to the following UN goal(-s)

"The project deals with the densification of our cities. It is developing a semi-public block type as a hybrid between the halls on the technical cadastre on Borgergade in the inner city of Copenhagen and a dormitory for students. The project addresses at the same time an important and current issue as it develops an urban strategy with a focus on integration in a given context."
