I always positioning myself between storyteller and architect. I like to dream but not only. That's why I want to catch something between reality and dream.Today. This story is about my hometown and the memories there....

''I may not know who I am, but I know where I am from......''. I have transformed a bridge, which is located in my hometown. The pipeline bridge was a fuctional bridge built to transfer water to the thermal electricity plant, but gradually it carries more of the memory properties of people living in my hometown.

I tried to solve the specific problems of the bridge by using people's memories as a transformation strategy.

I MAY NOT KNOW WHO I AM, BUT I KNOW WHERE I AM FROM

BACKGROUND: The Stories About My Hometown

In this project, I have tried to use memory as a starting point for transformation, gradually finding the design potential in the process of collecting memories.

SPACE ORGANIZATION STRATERGY: ATTACHMENT

In the hearts of most people, preserving an industrial bridge seems to be an agreement with industrial pollution. I talked to the local goverment and realized that the bridge would probably disappear in forty years with the removal of the electricity plant, to be replaced by a new traffic bridge using for cars.

I wanted to keep this 'city sculpture' as opposed to just removing the HuiGuan bridge. I'm trying yo use "Attach" as the main stratergy in all design approaches, hoping to add a new layer to the old bridge.

I hoping this transformation coukld be a kind of slogan, telling my hometown that HuiGuan bridge is our own industrial romance....
