Assembled Tactility

A series of objects created through a material exploration in ceramics and glass. Tension, balance and contrast have been caused in each object through the use of juxtaposing materials, textures, shapes and colors. Minimal shapes emphasize the readability of the materials resulting in uncomplicated objects that allow the material to be explored and appreciated. Formed from material pallets that combine recognisable ceramics and production techniques against more experimental materials and procedures. The collection combines sculptural and functional qualities into an object that has character when used or not.
