The UN predicts that by 2030 we will need 40% more housing than there currently is. In response to our contemporary dwelling problems, this project develops a speculative scenario for a co-living house, which occupies a former metal workshop in the Nordvest area of Copenhagen.

The co-housing proposal is based on three functional domestic activities: gathering, washing and sleeping. The methodology of overlapping the contexts of the existing building and activities research is the basis of the project as well as the source for design decisions. The project also has a phenomenological layer of multisensorial spatial perception, which suggests a mindfully present way of dwelling that enhances dwelling experience.
