Situated in East London, ‘Making Space’ is the design of a building and public garden that responds to the area’s industrial history. The design proposes the formation of community and commercial maker spaces that will form places for contemporary production.

The project focuses on designing spaces containing a level of spatial ambiguity, whilst also responding to the layered history of the site.
