Upon graduation from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 2004 and after having been invited and sponsored by Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana to show her graduation collection 'Dress me till I disappear in Better Beauty' in the Italian Haute Couture Fashion Week, Martine Jarlgaard was hired to work with Vivienne Westwood, where she headed the Vivienne Westwood Red Label.
Following this Martine worked with All Saints in London and as Head of Diesel Female Apparel in Italy before returning to London to launch her eponymous and exclusive label; Martine Jarlgaard London.

Drawing on Martine's Scandinavian heritage the Martine Jarlgaard London label embodies sculptural minimalism, sharp cutting and timeless sophistication. With a love for luxury materials and flattering silhouettes Martine Jarlgaard London focuses on contemporary elegance and the sublime beauty in lasting quality.

The finely crafted garments are entirely made in Europe and, wherever possible, pieces are labelled with the Italian fabric source mill to create an honest and transparent luxury product.
Fabrics are predominantly Italian and some are organic and recycled.

The brand has been selected by Centre for Sustainable Fashion, which is supported by Kering Group and the European Development Fund, for the advancement of ethical and sustainable fashion.

Martine Jarlgaard London is represented by Fashion Innovation Agency and presented her debut on-schedule digital presentation during London Fashion Week this weekend.
