Node "Nature In" at Konstfack: Seminar Lectures and Workshop

"Imagery Garden" Art Festival Biwako Biennale 2022, Shiga Prefecture, Japan © Carmen García Sánchez

"How can nature be part of our artistic work and provide us with health benefits and wellbeing feelings? The unique two-day node "Nature In" will answer this question and will shed light on our understanding of biophilic design, in order to inspire an interdisciplinary debate on nature-connected art design.

I will be giving a new two-day node on biophilic design together with Professor of Interior Design Dr Kristina Fridh at Konstfack - University of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm during Research Week 2024*. We will also be counting on the participation of Professor Nicolai Bo Andersen from The Royal Danish Academy – Centre for Sustainable Building Culture

* Throughout Research Week 2024, we will have the opportunity to reflect upon the ways in which artistic research has the ability to affect and interact with society at large, encountering, engaging with, and contributing to the sharing of new insights.

The programme will contribute to the international exchange between The Royal Danish Academy. Architecture Design Conservation, in Copenhagen and Konstfack . – University of Arts, Crafts and Design, in Stockholm.
