This thesis originates from studies of the aesthetic properties of the CNC cutter in a reinterpretation of a teapot.

The project must be understood as a tribute to and acceptance of the technical advancement in the ceramic field. The precision and slowness of working with the clay, as well as CNC cutters, are a major factor in how the objects place themselves between craft and machine.
