Student Assistant for Communication and Business Development
As our new Student Assistant, you will be joining a young and energetic team that is working on strengthening the studio’s brand profile and ensuring that we work with the most ambitious clients and win the right projects.
Schmidt Hammer Lassen is one of Scandinavia’s most recognised and award-winning architectural practices working on prestigious projects on a local and a global scale. Your role is to help the team reach a wider, deeper range of potential clients by supporting our market research operation, contributing to project proposals, and following up on market opportunities globally. In addition, you will support communication on our own media platforms, including social media where you will create engaging content that aligns with our visual tone of voice.
This is an exciting, dynamic role in an international environment, which will also allow you to further develop your graphic and communicative skills.
What you will be doing:
- Plan and prepare marketing and communication material.
- Assist with creating engaging content for social media (imagery and video)
- Prepare project material, reference sheets, CVs, and presentations, etc.
- Assist with preparing domestic and international pre-qualification, tenders, and pitches.
- Assist with the planning and execution of events.
- Assist in editing, translating, and proof-reading communication material.
We expect that you:
- Are studying a bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture or graphic design (with in interest in architecture and urban planning)
- Have excellent graphic skills and are used to working in MS Office and Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Have good writing skills both in Danish and English (fluency in German, Norwegian, Swedish, or French is also considered a big plus)
- Have an independent, organised, proactive, and conscientious work style with an excellent eye for detail
- Have flexibility in terms of supporting the team during busy periods and on days with deadlines
- Thrive in a dynamic, busy, and international environment
- Intend to work with us for at least a year, preferably longer

About the position:
The position is 12-15 hours per week with flexibility as needed for your study schedule. You will be working from our office in Copenhagen. We are looking to fill the position as soon as possible.
