The house on the pier - entrance

“The Trancission: An Including Place for Ceremony" is a place that carries the sublime and solemn atmosphere of a holy place, but is free from religion, located on a pire, in the harbour of Stavanger, Norway. A design with focus on the main person, that amplifies the exalted atmosphere. The project enhances Stavangers identity as a coastal city by different ways of connecting with nature.

Stavanger Path - walking rout to connect the different areas in the city, explore the old town, city center and the nature.
Landscape plan 1:2000 - a rain water collecting element with trees, from the highest point down to the ceremony house.
Stavanger path 1:2000 - The old town and city center, street art and the pier. A new connection to the water.
The water-collecting metal ribbon unfolds in circles where trees grows, and leads you to the ceremony house.

The open room, and the different openings make the room adapteble for each ceremony, so that you can make it how you want it, with the right light and atmosphere.
