Senior Interaktion

CODE is engaged in the Senior Interaction research project. Senior Interaction focuses on welfare technology and social interaction among senior people.

Within this field many projects on what could be called ”aging-in-place” have focused on how to help older citizens overcoming physical challenges related to being older. But the desire and ability to stay in ones own home is not only a question of having a good and well functioning physical environment. More important it is to have an everyday life full of valuable experiences alone and together with other people. The objective with this project is to develop new service models and interaction technologies that create possibilities for experiences and networking and social interaction among senior citizens. The partners are: Copenhagen Municipality, IT-University Copenhagen and a number of companies and design bureaus.
