The project  ”The bunker as a foundation”, attempts to connect pragmatics and poetry.

It draws the framework for a gastronomic refugium for chefs as well as a local refuge located in a historical German cannon post from World War II located on the Danish island of Bornholm, in the middle of the Baltic Sea.

The project is the result of a written poetic essay, which studies a personal interest of the field between sculpture and architecture. A fascination of the object as freestanding architectural and sculptural elements and how the composition of the elements generates a new structure that creates spaces and expands the building's complexity.
