The project is a transformation of an abandoned school situated on Langeland. It creates a welcoming architectural space that improves the recovering and well-being of cancer survivors, through investigating relations between the body, mind and architecture. By applying natural materials inspired by the calming nature surroundings, it acts towards a socially responsible transition back to life.
