‘Destroyer, Creator, Preserver’ explores the cyclical nature of life, emphasizing the life cycle of materials and the human relationship with them. Addressing exploitative tendencies and highlighting the connection between spirit and matter, the project aims to ignite transformative dialogue and promote the urgency of sustainability and transparency in creative processes. The hope is to foster a more conscious and harmonious future by rethinking the way we engage in the materials provided to us by earth.

My project is about understanding how we value raw materials and telling their story from their origins, through the present, to what might come next. Through a series of reliefs, I'm showing the step-by-step processes these materials go through and highlighting what makes them unique.

I want to encourage more openness in the glass and ceramic industry. I'm looking into how using these materials affects the Earth – both the positives and the negatives. I believe finding a better balance between human activities and the environment is crucial for a sustainable future.

In essence, I see my project as a way to address the environmental issues caused by human actions and to create a more positive relationship between us and the natural world.
