At The Foot Of The Mountain

This project places a depot landscape in Hedeland that cleans soil from building and construction projects. It establishes the depot as a recreative and productive landscape directly connected to a building that houses a visitors centre, laboratory, offices and workshop. The project aims to ask what we consider as a landscape today and sees the depot and contaminated soil with potentiality to create a new kind of recreative landscape that has an aesthetic and tactile value that furthermore directly confronts us with the soil and land that we’re building on.
