Inspired by the classic Dante´s Inferno, this project explores how this work can be re-imagined in the form of a digital game. With a focus on visual design, the project offers a humorous approach to the classic by introducing modern themes like social media and online culture to the ancient setting, taking the player on a journey through the sins of an oblivious influencer.

This project focuses on the visual aspect and how 2D and 3D graphics can be combined in a 2.5D setting.

Ancient Pillars and Hand Sculptures
Ancient Ruins
Doge NFTs and Bitcoin

For the 2D assets, the focus was to create a contrast between the ancient architecture, which consisted of elements like the pillars and the ruins, and references to modern online culture, like the doge NFTs and bitcoin.

As the 3D assets made up the floor and walls of the game, their textures were drawn so that they would match the style of the 2D assets, giving a cohesive look when combined in the final product.
