This project proposes a physical relationship between The Danish National Gallery (SMK) and its new museum in Thy. It is carried out by a series of interventions that juxtapose neoclassical architectural elements from the museum in Copenhagen with the site in Thy. This juxtaposition debates the relationship between city and county and the role of the museum historically and today.

Juryen sagde bl.a.:
The employment of ceramic 3D print as a production method, which translates found architectural details of the museum in Copenhagen and locally resourced clay into new and alternative architectural details, not only highlights [Valdemar Thrysøes] commitment to engage critically with an important societal issue and related design challenges, but also demonstrates his mastered skills to respond creatively through in-depth material experimentation and sensitive design solution."
