The unpredictable nature of giving up and regaining control

My final project is a capsule collection of fashion knitwear. The collection is a combination of hand knit and machine knit.

The style is high end streetwear and simple silhuettes based on classic athletic wear. The collection is inspired by the unpredictability, beauty, energy, intensity, drama and fragility that exist in nature.

I have combined various knitting tecniques with the ancient japanese dying tecnique of shibori. Shibori is a complex way of doing tie dye and dip dye. I wanted to work with a project that embrased both control and randomness in a merge of methods, pattern, colour, shape and texture.
