The project aims to discuss the position of the modern building in a post-human context and, what potential futures can be produced with an attention to the interconnections in microbial landscapes across different scales. The study will try to get closer to how the architect’s work can be understood in a time, where the planned and the unintended are linked. Site: Disused aquarium, Charlottenlund

The 3-point-views have compiled motives that develop conditions, which dissolve the division between culture and nature. The landscapes of the old aquariums are constructed terrains, which are artificial and real. The surfaces are treated and created by matter, forces and knowledge. They illustrate a nature. In the time they were left to be, more “nature” has grown, and it is now difficult to separate what is there from natural occurrences and what is placed on purpose.

A mixed selection of photographs that investigate different positions through different media and technologies: Photos on site, photos of a physical model, and photos of digital spaces (point cloud). They are all constructed views and partial positions that should be seen in relation to each other.
