This project introduces 3D printing of ceramic materials on an architectural scale using a self-built 3D printer.
3D printing as a fabrication method allows for highly articulated architectural components without compromising on material efficiency.
The use of clay as a traditional building material on a self-build tool enables architects and designers to engage with the fabrication method globally, using locally collected materials.
