UpHav - Furniture and interior design made from upcycled waste materials with an inherent origin story.

Furniture and interior buyers struggle to find alternatives to the current wasteful virgin-material based industry. We are two design entrepreneurs who are redefining sustainable furniture. We believe that there is immense value to be found in wooden waste materials from the construction industry and we seek to change the narrative of virgin materials being the only true source of luxury. We engage the upcycled materials through digital fabrication allowing us to reintroduce the materials to a circular economy thereby prolonging the life of otherwise discarded resources. In short, we seek to offer a true sustainable alternative to the current wasteful furniture production.

Our pieces are made entirely from reclaimed wood giving each a unique visual expression and one-of-a-kind stories of origin.

We have secured partnerships with two larger Copenhagen based firms for acquiring materials used in our early state manufacturing and we've received our first large commission.

Currently we are working on a range of prototypes from discarded plywood elaborating on our catalogue of products. In addition, we have just finished designing and are about to start the construction of our first commercial piece commissioned for a brand-new school in Hørsholm.

We're looking to connect with both potential customers and clients looking for eco-friendly solutions to interior design. If you are intrigued by our mission statement and want to know how your furniture and interior ideas can merge with our sustainable products, we whole heartedly invite you to contact us.
