Many agricultural areas in the future will be replaced by nature to improve biodiversity. But what about the cultural trails in our overworked cultural landscape and its significance to us? In Nordsjælland Søborg Sø was drained in 1795 and it is planned to be restored in 2023. A place that today only constitutes a puzzling hollow in the landscape but has potential for so much more.
