The strategy aims to prepare former industrial zones for urban development, while preserving their cultural significance. By cultivating willow plants in relation to the context, the ground pollution is reduced while producing biomass for energy production. Guided by the agricultural grid, a modular structure emerges as a metabolism creating space for habitats above the vegetation.

Moving around between the fields

The structure emerges as a metabolism in the agricultural grid. During harvest, every third year, new branches of the structure can emerge, as well as the infrastructural network of canals and roads.
