Architecture, Politics and Stasis in the Greek Polis of the Classic Epoch

Through literature studies of works by Aristotle, H.J. Gehrke, N. Lorreaux, G. Agamben, M. Heidegger, C. Schmitt, M.H.Hansen, J. Paga and others questions of the role of spatial formation and materialisation as dispositional for stasis (civil war) and, in turn, for the accumulative invention of early democracy in the Greek polis of classical antiquity are considered. The phenomenon of stasis is thus considered in relation to the birth of political under the nexus of democracy.
