The research project explores the ambiguous and shifting aesthetics of museum interiors: How they allow for intimate object encounters, while also being public spaces for social engagement, and how they combine permanent and temporary structures.

For instance, when old historical museums are renovated and transformed, and when permanent museum architecture meets temporary exhibition design.

In her research, AP focuses on spatial and material aspects of museum interiors and display design.
