Rewood
We are tackling the pressing challenge of reducing environmentally harmful waste from non-compostable packaging materials by offering Rewood, a durable, compostable alternative that transforms sawmill wood residue into eco-friendly packaging. This solution addresses the need for sustainable materials in industries like e-commerce, manufacturing, and logistics, where businesses are seeking to minimize their ecological impact.
What sets Rewood apart is its unique ability to repurpose wood residue into a strong, lightweight material that is both biodegradable and capable of replacing traditional plastics like EPS. Our early success includes a partnership with a design studio to create protective packaging for their glass jug, showcasing the real-world potential of Rewood.
We are currently testing a new prototype at Roskilde Festival to gather user feedback, enhance the customer experience, and introduce Rewood to a broader audience. Next, we aim to collaborate with binder experts to further develop the material and secure funding to continue testing and experimenting with new prototypes.
We are looking for partnerships, feedback from early adopters, and investment to accelerate our progress. Together, we can revolutionize protective packaging and create a sustainable future.
