Conference: ATypI Copenhagen 2025

Join the international typographic community ATypI at The Royal Danish Academy, April 22–26, 2025. We celebrate nearly seventy years of typographic education, heritage, technology, business, and camaraderie.

ATypI (Association Typographique Internationale) is an international non-profit organization dedicated to typography and typeface design. Its annual conference has taken place every year since 1957.

In 2025 the conference is hosted by the Royal Danish Academy. The Copenhagen local chair is Sofie Beier, professor and head of Centre for Visibility Design. Sofie is joined by her colleagues Anders Thulin, Head of the Institute for Visual Design, and PhD Research Fellow Matthias Horneman-Thielcke.

More than 80 storytellers and innovators from all over the world will share, teach, and inspire about all things type, design, and tech. Programme for the day will follow.
