Best in Design

Do you want to take your career to the next level and show the world what you’re capable of? If so, we have great news for you. Registration for the international competition Best in Design, which takes place under the Zlin Design Week festival in May, will run for another month. So fill out the application and take the first step towards boosting your career!

Best in Design is a competition that gives young talents like you the chance to showcase their skills, receive feedback from professionals, meet other designers from around the world, make new connections, and, last but not least, receive financial support for their work.

What can you win? Cash prizes in each category range from €200 to €500. However, the best of the best across all categories will receive, on top of the €500 for 1st place in their category, an additional €1,000 and the title of Best in Design 2025!

Designers can compete in four categories:

• Product & Industrial Design – products, interiors, furniture, tools, or devices
• Fashion Design – clothing, textile design, footwear, accessories, or jewelry
• Communication Design – graphics, illustration, new media, visual communication, intermedia, or web animations
• Service Design – complex designs of processes, technologies and interactions that drive provision of services

So, do you want to be Best in Design? The competition rules are simple:

• The maximum age limit for registration is 30 years,
• Submitted work must be no older than two years,
• There is no limit to the number of projects you can submit,
• You can compete either individually or as a team,
• Registration is completely FREE!

The application deadline is February 2, 2025.
