Holmen Now! #10 presents: HEIN WESTGAARD TRIO

Hein Westgaard Trio presents a melting pot of jazz, country, rock, classic, folk music and contemporary music in a flowing mixture with free impro.

The 3 musicians met in Copenhagen 2017. They are students at The Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen and they have played together in many different constellations.

The trio works with Hein’s compositions and together they create a musical expression with elastic borders between improvisation and composition.

Holmen Now! is a recurring event open to students from all the artistic schools at Holmen. Our aim is to connect the creative students at Holmen closer together through social and professional collaborations and experiences.
