Book Review | Jesper Pagh
You wouldn’t think that literature on the 1960s or Danish architecture from the decade was something that was exactly missing. It may well be the most thoroughly described – and discussed – decade in the 20th Century when it comes to changes in society, architecture and everyday life. As such, this monumental publication by Vibeke Andersson Møller does not bring ciritcal news to the table either. It does however, convey Danish architecture in the 1960’s with such an appropriate enthusiastic distance and a sharp eye on the relation between architecture, politics and societal prioritisations that it becomes obvious that this book has in fact been missing and that it should be on the curriculum at architecture schools across the country – also for the faculty.
