I am excited to be presenting the lecture entitled “Connecting Nature and Interiors: Post-war Danish Domestic Landmarks and the Japanese Tradition” invited by Professor Kristina Fridh and hosted by Konstfack - University of Arts, Crafts and Design, Stockholm.
In this era of necessary reflection on human-Nature relationship and the role of architecture as a mediator mean, some postwar-Danish and traditional-Japanese buildings offer profound lessons for our own time.
The purpose of the seminar is two folds: to enrich and transform our understanding of post-war Danish domestic architecture and the impact that traditional Japanese architecture had on it, and to stimulate the dialogue and interest in Nature-inclusive architectural interior design.
It will take place on Wednesday December 8th at 13.00 (CET). The event is online and free to attend, can be done through the link below.
