PRIX W 2027 – CHÂTEAU D’IF

For the 12th edition of the PRIX W, an architecture competition aimed at students and young architects, the Wilmotte Foundation invites you to take a fresh look at an iconic Mediterranean landmark: the Château d’If.

This call for projects is supported by the Centre des Monuments Nationaux.

Your mission? To imagine a contemporary, lightweight, and reversible intervention that will reveal the legendary fortress in a new light. Whether in the form of a performance pavilion, an artistic installation, a maritime theatre, or a landscape intervention, your proposal should create a sensitive dialogue between the site's heritage and the challenges of contemporary creative practice.
