INTERN @JASTUDIO
Hey Design Student!
• Do you want to work at the intersection of citizen-involved art and experimental design?
• Do you want to help solve major design, art, and communication tasks for the new children's hospital at the National Danish Hospital, the new agricultural school in Herning, and the Danish Arts Foundation among others?
• Do you want to learn more about, work with and explore plants as a primary material?
• Do you want to be involved in everything in a design and art studio? From the works themselves to showcases, drawings, communication, marketing, illustrations, collecting and registering materials, fundraising, financial management, and experiments?
If yes, let’s talk.
My name is Kigge Mai Hvid. I have worked internationally with design for many years as the founder and CEO of the world’s largest award for sustainable design – The Index Project, where we held exhibitions for over 10 million people from the US to China, established a sustainable investment fund, and taught design thinking.
In 2018, I founded my own studio, JAstudio. Here, I work at the intersection of design and art, while using plants as my main material and having a strong focus on biodiversity.
I work from my studio in the coziest backyard in the city, on Studiestræde. and collaborate with people across Denmark and internationally.
