The Third Age

Through designing a senior cohousing project in Laanshøj, the “tradition-based communities” has been challenged. Studies on how to foster informal social encounters between residents and create a connection to the local area have been carried out. The focus lies on the design, composition and transition between private, common and public spaces and functions, with a close connection to nature.
