On the Northern coast of Zealand lies a group of fishing villages. Amongst them Taarbæk, represents the contrasting development from vernacular dwelling to village. This project is a transformation of Taarbæk Kro, the central meeting point of the city. The project explores a sitespecific position on cultural-historical necessity in architecture and a sustainable interpretation of the self-grown.
