The Wooden Barn. Transformation of a Historic Barn in Sønderbro.

The project reimagines a timber barn built in 1907 in Sønderbro, Amager, as a workshop and exhibition space activated by Fabrikken and for the local community. Emphasizing the sensory experience through subtle spatial interventions and tactile fixture designs, it intends to preserve the barn’s spatial characteristics, invite people in, and foster cultural exchange and local connection.
