Cloud of Unknowing

Over 50 years have passed since the inception of the internet, and we still find ourselves knowing little about its inner workings. A lot has changed since the first time we set out to surf the web, for both better and worse.

Cloud of Unknowing is a book about internet disillusionment and our difficulties of understanding something that we engage with for several hours each day. In this exploration, eight texts are presented that delve into various themes on the intricacies and the ephemerality of the digital realm, and how it affects our behaviour and our understanding of the world around us. Each text is followed by a response by the editor of the book who offers their thoughts and additional reflections on the topic.
