Lilla Haga

My project is a proposal for a complementary museum to the National Museum in Stockholm. An addition that is fully dedicated to their vast and exceptional, but ungenerously exhibited collection of drawings and prints. 

The site is located in the North of Stockholm, a less culturally saturated location that  lacks the drawing force from cultural institutions the way other parts of the city do. A stately museum in conjunction to the park in which the museum is located would surely put a different light on the situation.

The project is twofold with the architecture and its spatiality on one side and the exhibition design on the other. With this as the outlook, I would like to explore museum architecture both in macro and micro scales to further understand its nature.
