This chair is based on a fascination and inspiration from the religious sect Shakers, functionalism and furniture architect Børge Mogensen.

The design of the chair has clear references to functionalism, where values ​​such as 'Form follows Function; Less is More' are based on values ​​like Shakers, where the furniture should be practical and free of unnecessary decoration. The same goes again with Børge Mogensen, who focused on creating furniture with man in the centre.
