The Nearness of Nature

Through this proposal for a new Nature Community, we can reunite with and establish an equal relationship between us and our surroundings. The building facilitates a means for a close and mutually beneficial  interdisciplinary network for the care, maintenance and personal experience of the impressive natural surroundings of Arrenæs, in Northern Zealand. The project seeks to explore, translate and convey the aesthetic sensations experienced on site to the built environment and thereby lessen the disconnect to the physical, non-human world.
