This project investigates how the furniture industry could work without virgin materials, covering process, economics, aesthetics, material sourcing, and the designer's role. The furniture is made from reclaimed pine from demolished Danish mink farms, wood that would otherwise be burned. The design is driven by what the material allows, not the other way around.

"The quality of the project lies in its considerations and care, pointing toward new ways designers should work in a world where we increasingly need to avoid using virgin materials and instead transform and rethink the materials we already have. Bruno Oberdorfer has a strong understanding of how designers must work responsibly in all steps of the value chain."
