In my graduation collection, I translate the magic of the ocean into five digitally knitted looks. My main goal with this collection is to challenge the existing rational, growth-fixated “sustainable” discourse existing in the current fashion landscape. By honoring nature’s depth and spirit instead, I wish to reinstall a deeper understanding of textiles and garments as precious resources.

As a designer, I work from a deep textile starting point. I am on an overall mission to bring back value back to textiles as a precious ressource. In this collection, I have developed six partially knitted looks. For 6 of the pieces out of 8 I have worked with a zero waste draping method, where I knit directly into shape. I have programmed and knitted partial knit panels from which I have draped fluid ocean flow shapes around the body.
