Model of Architecture Serving Society (MASS)

Join Alan Ricks, co-founder and co-executive director of MASS (Model of Architecture Serving Society), for a conversation on architecture as a tool for justice, healing, and ecological restoration. 

Drawing from MASS's interdisciplinary practice, the talk will explore how design can move beyond buildings to support public health, collective memory, climate resilience, and human dignity.

The talk will center around their new book, Seeking Abundance: Design, Ecology and a Flourishing Planet (Axiomatic Editions / ORO Editions, 2026), Ricks will share how MASS's practice reimagines architecture through systems of regeneration, stewardship, and collaboration.
