Online workshop: Disabling the Archive

Series exploring disability, deafness and neurodiversity in architecture, foregrounding inclusive research, pedagogy and design practices. 

The series marks a new collaboration between the Cluster for Disability, Deafness, and Neurodiversity at The Bartlett University College London, the Centre for Spatial Inclusion at the Royal Danish Academy and The DisOrdinary Architecture Project. Admission is free and open to all.

The workshop will explore the theme of “Disabling the Archive” through talks, discussions, and collaborative practice.  The theme examines gaps, narratives, and alternative methodologies, encouraging critical reflection on what constitutes an archive through a disability lens. ​The workshop will include a talk by gin naps and experiments with diverse formats while foregrounding storytelling and diverse archival practices within and beyond educational institutions.
