Learning from history – the bridge to a future building practice

The exhibition presents how Danish/Nordic historical building practice can inspire future building design. Studies of building with local and bio-based materials, creating different zones within a building, traditional detailing and joints as well as utilizing principles as thermal mass, building in layers and adaptability are principles that have the potential for building better for a more sustainable, resource-saving architecture of the future.
