The UIA 2023 World Congress will begin with an opening ceremony where we hope to see all the delegates. The content of the opening ceremony is still being developed but it will include: 

  • a formal welcome from Jakob Engel-Schmidt, Minister for Culture, Denmark
  • Natalie Mossin, President of Congress - Royal Danish Academy
  • Audrey Azoulay, Director-General, UNESCO
  • Michal Mlynár, Deputy Executive Director, UN Habitat

as well as the UIA 2023 Honorary Committee, and live music entertainment.
