Spaces for Longevity: Thresholds in Communal Domesticity

The project explores the social and spatial qualities of thresholds, an essential space in shared domesticity that filters transitions in-between the individual and communal. Focusing on spaces within a communal home for elderly in their third age, where the threshold can allow the elderly body to adjust the level of participation in the everyday scenery according to capacity.
