Expiry Date Adaptation - raising living standards on sinking land

The informal settlement Muara Baru, Jakarta, faces poor living standards and increasing threat of a coastal flood, as continuous land subsidence increases the severity of a potential coastal flood. The proposal comprises a vertical evacuation shelter and community space, aiming to create better life quality here and now, and increasing resilience and safety.
